Mac Haul and VACATION!

Hello boys and girls! Sooo today was my LAST DAY OF CLINICAL FOR THE SEMESTER!!! So much joy. I will now be enjoying a well deserved 2 month vacation. I am overjoyed. And because I am so overjoyed I went and spent around $150 at MAC Cosmetics to treat myself ;)....or make me poorer..whatever hahahaha.  So I'm going to show you guys what I got!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D....So happy!

This is a MAC 130 Brush. It is a small stipling brush that I use for my new foundation! I love this brush it's so awesome for blending out foundation and really focusing and working on the small spaces.

This is the MAC 129 Powder brush. Love it!

All my pretty products....minus the two brushes.

MAC Pro Longwear foundation with SPF 10 in NC40! This foundation promises to stay in place for 15 hours without moving at all and although I have heard rave reviews about it I am yet to fall in love with this product. It is really blendable and goes on smooth but my face still gets oily after about half a day....Will update if this product use improves for me!

This is the fast response eye cream. I use it every night as my eye cream and every morning as a primer for my under eye concealer. Haven't used this product enough to give a review on it but I will as soon as I have used it enough!

This is the Studio Finish Concealer by MAC in shade NW30. This is a wicked under eye concealer. I absolutely LOVE IT!

Hey guys. So let me tell you a little about my ever so exciting life....It's Saturday night. What am I doing? Cleaning. Today was most likely the most boring day of my life. I was very excited to have this one day off of work/school and to have it all to myself but after waking up at 1130am I quickly realized I had nothing to do...so I played a little but of Mario Party.....then I surfed the net and then after exhausting all other options I set about to clean my bathroom...which was disgusting by the way..BUT NOW it is sparkling clean! I get a little bit depressed when I have nothing to do...isn't is it a little sad? Saturday night and I'm cleaning. ugh. SO FUN. Well, on a happy note, I have work tomorrow so I will be occupied and on a sad note someone stole my crappy little bonus at work :( I work in a retail store and we sell SPC cards...and you get paid for each card you sell and the end of the month came and I went to collect my envelope with my measley 25.00 in it and it was no where to be found. After speaking with the store manager we determined that someone had indeed stolen it. :( IM JUST A POOR STUDENT. That money meant the world to me. It made me sad.. :( Why do people steal? Would you ever do it? I hope not.

Wedding Craziness!

This weekend was my cousin's wedding....that is why I have been totally MIA this weekend! It was a weekend filled with little sleep and lots of dressing up..pictures to follow. Just writing a little update post. I am beyond exhausted at this moment and all I want to do is sleep for a very long long long long time but I will not get to sleep in until Saturday due to school and work this week :( We go back to the early morning clinical shifts tomorrow UGH! BUT only 1 more week left until I get 2.5 months off! CAN'T WAIT! Okay guys, I shall write a longer and more detailed post tomorrow...for now good night! <3

Sing your little heart out...

Hey boys and girls! How's it going? Today I became extremely bored at home and sat infront of my mirror fiddling around with my face. After applying makeup and then being sad that I was all dressed up with no where to go, I decided to shoot another youtube video! I did 3 of them! 2 videos of me showcasing my singing and 1 vlog about nursing school! I'll post the links once they are done being edited and are uploaded to youtube. I also got bored while editing the video and took pictures...I'm a little bit of a camera whore....don't hate...we all do it. ;) Pictures below..and what do you guys do when your bored? The Brush Guard

So, I did a youtube demonstration/review video on this product called the Brush Guard which I recently purchased! Check out the video, I'll post the link below. THIS IS AN AMAZING PRODUCT...for $7.50. It helps you store and clean your makeup brushes in such a way that you preserve their shape and usefulness (is that a word???) for a VERY long time. And for those of you who USE makeup brushes you know that they pretty much cost you your first born child....straight up. PROCRASTINATION! I feel like I always put the really hard projects/assignments last. Do any of you do that? For example, this weekend my TO-DO list included the following

• Clean my room
• Finish a homework assignment
• Edit my youtube video
• Record a new youtube video
• Edit the new youtube video
• Go to the gym

This is what I have done so far (Note: It is Sunday afternoon)

• Clean my room
• Edit my youtube video
• 1/4 of the homework assignment
• A lot of facebook creeping/surfing youtube
• lots of fighting with my boyfriend

Currently all I want to do is shoot my new video and edit it since I have learned all of these super cool editing techniques and I have super awesome concept for my next video BUT I have banned myself from editing/shooting until my homework assignment is complete and I can't seem to make myself do it. I feel like part of the reason I refuse to do it is because it is a difficult assignment for me. One which I have a hard time understanding and therefore I just don't want to put the effort into doing it. I sound like a horrible student. I AM NOT! I am just in full on vacation mode in which all I want to do is lounge around and eat and talk to my boyfriend who isn't speaking to me at the moment. (We won't get into that....it would take me years to explain :P ) AAAHHHH and this is just further procrastination.....help me guys! Any tips on avoiding procrastinating? I need all the help I can get!

High School

Hey guys!
So, I watched a movie today. It was called "Easy A" Have you heard of it? No? Youtube the trailer it's pretty awesome! This movie is about a girl (Olive) who gets a reputation for being a slut. Problem? She's not really a slut and is only pretending to be one to help out those lonely guys in high school so they aren't tormented anymore. Things are going well for Olive until a Christian extremist club in her school finds out about her and makes it their mission to ostracize her. It's a comedy paired with a little bit of a teenage love story. I quite enjoyed it!

So, I have edited my very first video with Final Cut Pro. The quality isn't the greatest and some of the picture is blurry but ITS DONE! Check it out and let me know what you guys think. Comment, rate and subscribe and I know there are not a lot of nursing related videos and that is because well this semester I am only in school for 6 weeks with one class and compared to TWO 12 week semesters with 5-6 classes, it's a piece of cake ;) THEREFORE! this semester will be all about fun stuff I'm doing but I'll throw in nursing related bits as they come about.  Enjoy!

I've recorded some videos for youtube! I edited 2 of them but I am not happy with the final product. So I have gone in search of better editing software and am going to devote my saturday to finding and downloading the software and then editing the video! I am so excited. Since I will sitting infront of my computer all day long, you can expect many many updates from me. Currently I am waiting for the program to download and then I can install it. I'm going to be using Final Cut Pro 7....fingers crossed that this works!!!!
